Joshua Fabus

Ever since I was young I had a thing for movies and making videos. I remember shooting whatever I could from photos to random videos with whatever camera I could get my hands on. I've always tried to keep myself close with the "film industry" by involving myself in whatever I could, such as stage crew for shows, or media clubs. Eventually, in my mid-high school years, I finally started to pick up my father's Nikon and take it out wherever I went. I started to teach myself how to use the camera properly from composition to settings. It didn't matter if my shots were good, because either way I was having fun with it, and that's what really helped me decide to get into the industry. I've since attended Pittsburgh Technical College studying Video Production where I have learned a lot. After trying everything out from sound to post-production, I've found the role of cinematographer. Setting up composition while carefully studying light and the way it tells a story through my work is something that is very important to me. I hope to continue my work and set my skills on many projects to come.
